2. How did you come up with your username?

Ha, my first and last name without the vowels.

3. Where are you from originally?

Born and raised in Savannah, GA! I would never move back though.

4. Are you better in person or online, socially?

Both. Though I am a bit of a techy, computer nerd. 

5. We know being a Mommy is a full-time job, do you also do something outside of the home? (work, school, volunteer, etc)

I am a Pampered Chef consultant at the moment. I love cooking, and I like to make it easy and quick now that I'm a mom. PC has the gadgets to do that for me. I'm also a writer, but that's in the home. I'll be published one day. Look for me. 

6. Tell us a little bit about your family.

I married my husband, Benjamin, on Feb. 18th, 2010, just a few shorts months after we met actually. No one thought we'd make it this far, but no one felt what we felt either. Cheesy, huh? We have a 17 month old son, Owen. That little boy is our whole world, and I cannot imagine my life without him. He's brought us so much joy, it's surreal. We love being parents so much we're having another! Our little girl, Aislinn, is due this fall and we really cannot wait to have more baby love to give and receive.

7. How did you find LakeNormanMommies?

Google, baby! Moved here in Oct. 2011 and we have zero family or friends near, so I needed friends for myself and DS. Then I found this heavenly little place.

8. What is your favorite forum and why?

TTC, Pregnancy & Childbirth right now. I'm still in that stage of popping out the kiddo's.  Then it's the Babies & Toddlers (0-2), as it lets me know what I'm in for with DS and that I'm not the only one who's what gone through what I have with him. He can be a little terror, no matter how angelic he looks.

9. Are you (or have you ever been) a part of a committee or leadership on LakeNormanMommies?

Yep! I was first the Mod for Young Mommies, and now I am the Southern Iredell Co-Mod. I like being involved. The site has done so much for me in so little time, and this is a way I can give back and help. It gives me that last little but of motivation to get out there and meet new people as well.

10. If you could share one random thing about you what would it be?

I love crime shows. I'll most likely drop everything to watch a crime TV drama. Maybe it's because I've always wanted to be a lawyer or major in cyber crimes if I ever went back to school, but I love them. My DVR is full of NCIS, Criminal Minds and Law & Order: SVU.

11. What would your dream *Mommy Ride* be?

Anything right about now! I'm in need of a new car before DD arrives. I really like the Chevy Traverse because it's roomy, but we looked at a Toyota Highland Hybrid and that is look *hot* for us.

12. What’s your favorite coffee drink?

Hot chocolate, haha. I don't do coffee, but I can do hot chocolate or the instant stuff.
